Ski Bum

We rented some cross country skis and Tyler had a great time. He was getting bored just going straight so he was skiing off the little hills in the backyard. It was fun
Jacob isn't too sure about the snow yet but it sure tastes good. The boys are sitting on one of the little hills Tyler likes to go down.

Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner!!!

Jace took Tyler to the Mule Deer foundation banquet a few weeks ago. All of the kids put their name in for a prize. It could be anything from a gun to a hat. It came to the third gun and they pulled Tyler's ticket. He won a pellet gun. He was so excited. Jace also bought some raffle tickets to put in on other prizes. He put in on a couple other guns and some binoculars. Well, Tyler won another gun and some binoculars which Jace will use. The people over the foundation were having the kids draw names for the prizes. They were watching Tyler all night and commented on how well behaved he was and asked him if he wanted to draw the name for the grand prize, an awesome gun. So he was excited to be able to draw the winner of the fancy gun because all of the other kids wanted to draw the ticket for that gun. In a nut shell, Tyler who is 4 years old, now has 4 guns. Lucky guy. Gun safety is and always will be an important topic at the Vance household.
Oh yeah, Kade (Jace's brother) won a hunting trip in Wyoming. Tevis (Jace's dad) won an archery vest. It kind of sounded like the Vances were the big WINNERS!
