Jace
Jace is awesome! I am not a gushy lovey dovey type person but I do want everyone to know that Jace rocks! I had an opportunity to go to Portland for work. It started off at 5 days but ended up 9 days. No questions asked Jace took care of everything. It was hard, don't get me wrong but it was good exposure/experience for me and my career. Jace is so supportive that he was willing to take on this challenge. I was gone for 5 days home for 2 then gone for another 4. During this time there were t-ball games, Jace had softball, and a few people came to look at the house (oh ya, it's up for sale) plus work is busy for him! I was missing everyone and I think they missed me to! Bo (our dog) was even following me around when I returned. I think he was lacking attention since Jace was busy with the boys. Jace is a wonderful dad and husband! Thanks for everything you do for the boys & I!
Choices
The other Sunday I had a choice. Tyler had these big jewel stickers that were huge and decided that I needed some extra jewelry on my shirt to compliment my neclace. They were an ugly green & blue so he put them on the lapel of my shirt very proud. So as I am racing to get everyone ready and in the car for church I realize I still have these huge jewels on and that I am teaching in relief society - a bunch of ladies. The choice was to leave them on or take them off? I don't have a picture but it wasn't cute. I decided to leave them on for a little bit and take them off when I teach. It was getting close to teaching so I took them off. I was in the hallway then I thought, since when do I care? I rarely care what people think of me. I do value people's opinions but then I usually think or do what I want. So I put the stickers back on because my handsome little man put them there. I even thought about explaining them before I started my lesson then asked why? As I am standing in the hallway waiting for my class to begin Tyler comes walking by to use the restroom. He flips my hair out of the way and says "You are still wearing them?!", with a huge smile "They make your shirt look brand new" as he walks off. I am sure glad I made the correct decision and I proudly wore them during my lesson without explaining them. Tyler was super excited that I would wear them. How could I let him down?

Ode to Kirkie!
Kirkie has been one of my best friend for years! Yesterday was her big 30 b-day! Just wanted to shout out happy birthday to her. There is a story behind the picture and I hope you are smiling Amy! The nickname Kirkie has also been around for a few decades and I am the only one that calls her that. You are and always will be a huge part of my life. Your a doll Miss thang!

I wanted to give you this experience for your birthday but thought the picture was even better!
