Here are some random photos. I had over a 100 on my camera so I limited to just a few. I do cook (not so well sometimes but I do try) so he really isn't this sickly looking. He thought it was funny to pose like this because he got a reaction out of me. I wish my stomach was that small!


I found Jacob in his laundry basket with his sippie, blanket & hat. Three of his four favorite things. Food - being the fourth. I was surprised I didn't find any food/snacks in there.

BABY! Jacob can say baby very well. Mason is their cousin and we were lucky enough to be able to watch him for a few hours a couple of weeks ago. We had a great time. Jacob wanted to hold him all night and Tyler was trying to teach him to give high fives. He is only 6 months so he didn't really catch on to the high fives yet. He is the best baby ever! He just laughs and smiles. The only time he cried was when Jacob cried. Jacob was crying because he didn't want to go to bed and leave the baby and Mason's was a sympathy cry. Jacob finally fell asleep with Mason there. The next morning he keep asking "where baby" while shrugging his shoulders and holding his hands up. It was cute - so Tate & Krista the boys make great entertainers, Mason is welcome anytime!

It's a Relay Rockstar Raffle

It's that time of year when Relay for Life is in full swing! My team will be selling raffle tickets to earn money for The American Cancer Society through Relay for Life. What is Relay for Life you may ask? It's AWESOME! It is the signature event and fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The relay is not only to raise money but to honor those who have survived or who may have lost their life to the wicked cancer. All the money from the raffle ticket sales will go to the American Cancer Society. It is close to my heart because my mom is a survivor, GO MOM! I have had many relatives get this wicked disease so we are paying a tribute to them as well!

Our team has donated many items and cash to raffle off to help raise some cash for an important cause. Here is the 411 for the raffle:

• Tickets are $1 (really, just a $1)
• No need to be present to win
• Drawing will take place June 19th at Noon at the Blackfoot Livestock Auction
• There are two raffle containers you can put your tickets into:

1st Container consists of 2 prizes:

1. 10 pounds Seasoned Prime Rib & 10 pounds Rib Eye Steaks ($200 worth of meat, YUM)

2. 20 pounds Seasoned Prime Rib & 20 pounds Rib Eye Steaks ($400 worth of more YUM)

2nd container consists of 4 prizes. You don't get to choose, you win whatever they draw your name for. Here is a picture of some of the items:

2. Girls night in Basket (movies, food, lotions, etc)
3. Camping Quilt (not pictured)
4. Custom saddle bags with a spay or neuter and a bag of horse feed.

Memorial Weekend

We had a fun weekend not doing a whole lot. We went swimming, played tennis, visited graves, played on the slip n' slip and started t-ball. My sister Stasie was here from Provo and we worked hard and played harder. I think she came to relax but that didn't happen. We had a great time anyway.


This is my dad with my two cute boys. Instead of flowers my boys put these clear flat rocks that I put flag paper on. Then Tyler wrote his name on them. Ty thought that was cool putting "rocks" on the graves. Since he and Jacob love rocks I thought decorative ones were appropriate. We just got done putting flowers & rocks on my grandma & grandpa's grave when it started raining - hard. Game over. The boys (and I) didn't want to get out of the car. We weren't really dressed for the weather. And this was one of a few stops. Tyler was feeling pretty bad when he saw that there were many grave sites that didn't have flowers or rocks. Unfortunately I didn't make enough for him to put on other places - I will next year. I told him that their family and friends will probably show up in the next couple of days. He was ok with that answer.



Tyler test driving the slip n' slide while Jacob watches. It wasn't that warm to be in the water but we still had fun. Yes, I said we. Ty begged me to try it out with him. Our neighbor was in his yard all day long so it took me a while to finally get in my swimming suit (I dug out the tankini - less revealing) and say to hell with it, I am having fun! I tried to put the slip n' slide so I was hidden by the shop. That didn't work out so great but I still had fun. I love how adventurous Tyler is, keeps me young.


Tyler started t-ball practices and is really excited about playing. Games start next week so I will post more pics then.

Kade & Emma

Aren't they adorable? This is Jace's brother Kade (who is a lucky guy to snatch Emma). He and Emma are getting married in July and we can't wait. We think Emma is awesome. Emma & I went to high school together, GOOO PANTHERS!! Here are a few of their engagement pictures. The first one is my favorite. I have never seen so many pictures of Kade smiling, but I can't blame him - he's got a cutie in the picture with him!

Farm Bureau Women of the Year

Since Mother's Day is around the corner I think it is fitting I post about my mom. She recently was recognized as Bingham County's Farm Bureau Women of the Year. She was dreading the brunch they were having to honor her. Here she is with some of the grandkids that were there to take pictures. Naomi, Saydi, Jacob & Quinci. It was Quinci's 8th birthday the day of the brunch so we sang to her. The girls belong to Chris & Kimmel.


Since my mom was very involved in Junior Miss before they moved my dad wanted to get her some "Junior Miss" flowers or presentation flowers. He thought that would be funny. I am not sure about the tiara if it is something they always do or if Kimmel had her wear it, but it was still funny. My mom had to fill out this long application about her involvement in farming, volunteer work, etc. After I read it I told my mom that I feel like a chump because I am not that involved in the community or organizations. She said that she didn't have little kids when she was involved and it was usually organizations the kids participated in. Okay, so I felt a little better but seriously, this lady rocks when it comes to volunteer work.

Mom - we love you and no matter what you think you deserve this award! Eat it up, they don't just hand this out to everyone............

YEEHAW!!!!!

Jace, Tyler & I went and helped my brother brand & vaccinate his calves. We had a good time. Jacob stayed at Chris's house with my niece Saydi and a babysitter. It was better that way. Here are some shots from the day.

Tyler finally wanted to help towards the end of the day. He ended up with the nasal squirter thing. It squirts blue vaccination in their nose. He thought that was awesome.

I did a little bit of everything that day but mainly gave shots. We gave shots in the shoulder and one time I about gave Jace the shot. I poked him with the needle - good thing he is so forgiving! Right as we were leaving it started to rain a little. We worked hard and had fun.

Happy Birthday Jace

So I am a few days behind but this has been a crazy week. Jace's b-day was on Monday. Tyler made him a little treasure hunt to find his gift. We had like 5 minutes to complete the treasure hunt before we left for my soccer game. We needed another guy to play so Jace played and showed everybody up. He maybe one year older but hasn't slowed down any. Jace is an amazing man, husband and father. I am so lucky that he is mine!
