Kade & Emma
Aren't they adorable? This is Jace's brother Kade (who is a lucky guy to snatch Emma). He and Emma are getting married in July and we can't wait. We think Emma is awesome. Emma & I went to high school together, GOOO PANTHERS!! Here are a few of their engagement pictures. The first one is my favorite. I have never seen so many pictures of Kade smiling, but I can't blame him - he's got a cutie in the picture with him!

Farm Bureau Women of the Year
Since Mother's Day is around the corner I think it is fitting I post about my mom. She recently was recognized as Bingham County's Farm Bureau Women of the Year. She was dreading the brunch they were having to honor her. Here she is with some of the grandkids that were there to take pictures. Naomi, Saydi, Jacob & Quinci. It was Quinci's 8th birthday the day of the brunch so we sang to her. The girls belong to Chris & Kimmel.
Since my mom was very involved in Junior Miss before they moved my dad wanted to get her some "Junior Miss" flowers or presentation flowers. He thought that would be funny. I am not sure about the tiara if it is something they always do or if Kimmel had her wear it, but it was still funny. My mom had to fill out this long application about her involvement in farming, volunteer work, etc. After I read it I told my mom that I feel like a chump because I am not that involved in the community or organizations. She said that she didn't have little kids when she was involved and it was usually organizations the kids participated in. Okay, so I felt a little better but seriously, this lady rocks when it comes to volunteer work.

Mom - we love you and no matter what you think you deserve this award! Eat it up, they don't just hand this out to everyone............
Here's a plug for Farm Bureau just for you mom. For more information on agriculture issues visit www.idahofb.org
YEEHAW!!!!!
Jace, Tyler & I went and helped my brother brand & vaccinate his calves. We had a good time. Jacob stayed at Chris's house with my niece Saydi and a babysitter. It was better that way. Here are some shots from the day.
Watch out Jace, mom might brand you! My mom was the designated brander. I think she just likes to torture the little calves.

Tyler finally wanted to help towards the end of the day. He ended up with the nasal squirter thing. It squirts blue vaccination in their nose. He thought that was awesome.

Here he is in action. Jace held the head down so it wouldn't move.

Happy Birthday Jace
So I am a few days behind but this has been a crazy week. Jace's b-day was on Monday. Tyler made him a little treasure hunt to find his gift. We had like 5 minutes to complete the treasure hunt before we left for my soccer game. We needed another guy to play so Jace played and showed everybody up. He maybe one year older but hasn't slowed down any. Jace is an amazing man, husband and father. I am so lucky that he is mine!

Zoo Time
Gotta love the quality photos from camera phones! Ugh, next time I will take a better camera. We took advantage of the nice weather and went to the zoo. It was so much fun (I love going to the zoo). Jacob wanted to wear Jace's hat the whole time. He would wear it and have it fall down past his eyes and start running - into poles, people, he didn't care. It was funny and he only slightly touched someone and they laughed thank goodness.Things we did this weekend and of course I didn't take pictures of:
- Tyler went to 2 skate parks & tried out his scooter. He likes the skateboard better but wants to take his bike next time. He wants to write BMX on his bike so he can ride it at the skate park because as I was reading the rules to him (I don't know anything about skating & the ettiquette so I read the rules yes, I am lame) it said that you can only have a BMX bike).
- Tyler rode his motorbike - lots and had a good time
- Tyler drove the 4-wheeler for the first time (I was the passenger of course) and he took me over some hills - scared me! He reassured me by telling me "dad takes me over these jumps when we are on his motorbike" it didn't help to reassure me at all!
- Jacob didn't like the 4-wheeler ride as much but LOVED the lawn mower. I think it was because Jace was on the lawnmower and he is a daddy's boy
It was nice just to be out in the sun! Hope everyone had a super weekend as well.

Happy Birthday Bo
Okay a little different sending birthday wishes to my dog but he is more than just a dog to us. He is our family so HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOZO. Today he is 9 in human years. But he still acts like he is 2. We wouldn't have it any other way! (this picture was taken on Jacob's birthday, we didn't wear party hats for Bo's b-day).
